Ice Rods:

Starting with a Solid Fiberglass custom taper blank that has that special blend of sensitivity and power.  Then, selectively picking components from some of the top manufactures in the industry today, we're ready to start building a rod that with meet the expectations of today’s demanding anglers. First, and one of the more crucial steps in building, is finding the spine or the “Sweet Spot” of the blank. Aligning the guides along the spine, and in the proper positions, ensures optimal performance for each rod. Fitting the blank into a fine piece of Portuguese cork, with the blank running through the end of the cork, gives these rods unmatched sensitivity. Five guides strategically placed on a 24” rod, minimizes flat spots and allows the line to mirror the blank under load. Spinning guides, and an oversized Tip Top, also aids in minimal freeze up.
